Rules and League Information
Wednesday Night Mixed is designed to offer fun, fitness, social interaction and team play. Traditionally, we are a social curling program as the emphasis is on fun and improving our curling skills (Many Learn to curl graduates feel comfortable joining our group).
The Wednesday Night Mixed Curling is run at the Beaver facility Wednesday nights with on-ice time from 7:30 – 9:30 with socializing happening before and after (get acquainted night Wednesday, October 12th with regular play starting on Oct. 19th).
Sign-up is on an individual basis (with some consideration for couples who want to play together).
Generally, the first night is a get acquainted night with teams made up that night and only six ends of curling with socializing afterward. We run a 50/50 draw each night to raise funds for our Christmas and Closing parties. Sign-up sheets are put up two weeks before the beginning of each draw with the first draw beginning October 19th.
